Chatty Cats Care provides trusted in-home cat sitting services across London. We are looking for professional, reliable and trustworthy cat lovers to join our team as self-employed cat sitters.
Cat sitting is a flexible and rewarding role, but it also carries significant responsibility. Our clients trust us with their cats and their homes, so every sitter must provide dependable, attentive care and follow each client’s instructions carefully.
Your responsibilities may include feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, grooming, playing with cats, cleaning up after them and administering agreed medication where appropriate. You will also send clients clear updates, including photos or videos, after every visit.
Cat sitting often involves weekends, bank holidays and other busy periods, so you will need a flexible schedule and dependable availability. Above all, you must genuinely care about cats, respect their individual personalities and routines, and be committed to making every cat feel safe and comfortable while their owner is away.
A Cat Sitter will be required to visit cats in their homes for the duration of a booking, this could be anything from 2 days to 3 weeks. You will visit either once per day, twice per day or overnight (live in) while the client is away from home. You will be required to cover your own travel expenses for jobs, however, if the job is quite far from your home travel expenses may be covered by the client.
A person who is flexible, open, and willing to travel around London and Cambridge for Cat Sitting jobs are preferred, but not essential.
You must be Organised, Self Efficient, Punctual, Able to Follow Instructions, and Love Animals. We also prefer if you have owned a cat in the last 5 years.
You must be able to pass a DBS check and sign a contractual agreement.
